3. Use of personal details

Personal details are never passed on to third parties unless you have expressly given consent yourself, and we never collect personal details unless you have given us these details through registration, making a purchase or participating in a survey etc. Here the only details collected are name, address, postcode, e-mail, gender, age, interests, attitudes or knowledge of various subjects.

Personal details are used to implement the purchase or the service the details were collected in connection with. In addition, the details are used to get to know more about you and other users of the website. Among other things, this usage may include surveys and analyses aimed at improving our products, services and technologies, and at showing content and advertising that is adapted to your interests and hobbies.

3.1 Contact in connection with personal details

If you want to gain access to the details about you registered by Cumuli, you can mail to us at ceramic@ceramic.dk or telephone +45 58 19 00 16. If incorrect data is registered, or you have other objections, you can contact us in the same way. You can gain insight into what information is registered about you, and you can raise objections to a registration according to the rules of the Danish Act on Processing of Personal Data.

3.2 Protection of personal details

According to the Act on Processing of Personal Data your personal details must be stored securely and confidentially. We store your personal details on computers with restricted access, which are located in controlled facilities, and our security measures are checked regularly to assess whether our user information is kept responsibly with constant consideration for your rights as a user. However, we cannot guarantee 100 per cent security on data transmitted over the Internet. This means that there may be a risk that others gain unauthorized access to information when data are transmitted and stored electronically. You give your personal information therefore on your own responsibility.

Personal details are regularly deleted or rendered anonymous, when the purpose for which they were collected is completed. Personal details are kept for a maximum of twelve months after use.

Because the Internet develops rapidly, changes may be necessary in our administration of personal details. We therefore reserve the right to update and alter these guidelines for administration of personal details. If we do so, we will of course change the ‘last updated on’ date at the bottom of this page. In the event of extensive alterations we will inform you through a visible announcement on our websites.

To the extent that personal details about you are processed,  you are entitled under the Danish Act on Processing of Personal Data to be informed about which personal details can be traced to you. If the information or data about you that are processed are incorrect or misleading, you are entitled to have the information corrected, deleted or blocked. You may at any time raise objections against details about you being processed. You may also withdraw your consent at any time. You may complain over the way information and data about you are processed.  Complaints can be submitted to the Danish Data Protection Agency, cf. Section 1(58)(1) of the Danish Act on Processing of Personal Data.
