AIR GRANT

With this Open Call, we invite ceramic artists to apply for a one-month grant residency.
Guldagergaard will award residency grants, distributed evenly between the first and second half of the year.
Upcoming Deadlines
19 December 2025: 10 grants for residencies in 2026, 5 of which are reserved for Danish citizens.
15 April 2026: 10 grants for residencies in the second half of 2026 and the first half of 2027, 5 of which are reserved for Danish citizens.
Applicants will be notified of the outcome by 1 January and 1 May respectively.
The Grant Includes
– Your own workshop space
– Access to all ceramic-related facilities
– Accommodation in a private room in the beautiful old main building
– Ceramic professionals ready to assist, guide, and advise you
– Access to archives and databases
– A materials and firing budget of DKK 12,500 per grant recipient during the stay. The materials budget is intended for experimenting and for developing new artistic working methods and works
– Up to DKK 2,500 to cover travel expenses.
Residency Periods – AIR 2026
Residencies can be applied for any periods you wish, in 2026 however, with the latest end date being mid-December.
Application Requirements
To be considered, applicants must meet the following criteria at the time of application:
– You must have a clear project
– You must have relevant experience in the fields of ceramic art and/or ceramic craftsmanship
