AIR GRANT

With this Open Call, we invite Danish applicants to apply for a one-month grant residency.
From early 2025 onwards, Guldagergaard will award eight grants annually, distributed over two application rounds each year: The first half and the second half of the year.
In July, Guldagergaard calls for applications for the first half of the upcoming year (2026). In January 2026, applications will be invited for residencies in the second half of the year (2026).
The Grant Includes
– Your own workshop space
– Access to all ceramic-related facilities
– Accommodation in a private room in the beautiful old main building
– Ceramic professionals ready to assist, guide, and advise you
– Access to archives and databases
– A materials and firing budget of DKK 12,500 per grant recipient during the stay
Residency Periods – AIR 2025
Residencies can be applied for any periods you wish, in 2025 however, with the latest end date being mid-December.
Application Deadline
First round, 5 grants: 15 May
Second round, 3 grants: 15 July
Applicants can expect a response from Guldagergaard by no later than 1 June and 1 August respectively.
Application Requirements
This is a residency grant awarded to Danish ceramists. To be considered, applicants must meet the following criteria at the time of application:
– You must have a clear project
– You must have relevant experience in the fields of ceramic art and/or ceramic craftsmanship.
